The Middle School Dance

POV: The dance floor is blasting the greatest hits ("Call Me Maybe", "Super Bass", "Diamonds"). You're in your Sunday best (ponytail tying up your t-shirt, knit shawl, nylon dress). The smells are vivacious (oversweet punch, boys who haven't learned to use deodorant, boys who have only learned to use Axe. 

 

That's right- it's 2012 and you're at the middle dance. And, yeah, it's the night of nights, alright?
